It’s been many years since you’re born
All the twenty-two years that I’ve known
Many times in my heart I thought
Have I given the love you’ve sought?
Yet I thought few would understand
And love found no boundary
So is between you and me
I love you so from the start
Why should I question what’s in my heart
I love you so when you’re still a baby
No less but more and would always be
The birthday of course, is important
To recall the tracks where you’ve been
To cherish the moments of happiness
To hope for the many best wishes
May the years to come full of splendour
Just be patience so you’ll savour
To the Almighty Allah say your prayer
Stay by His side and He’ll guide your way
Abide by His rule, safe you will be
For He knows what He for-see
Your dreams and ambitions may come true
Forget Him and He will forget you
So my beloved AINUN NAZRIN, stay on course
The journey ahead is more adventurous
For love alone is not enough
The sea gets rough and the going gets tough
Believe in yourself and your willpower
Allah the Creator to whom you surrender
And in my heart, in one little corner
